Have you traveled abroad before? If so, where and why?
Yes, I moved to America from Kazakhstan, so for me it’s Abroad, kind of. I’ve also been in Russia, United Kingdom, Mexico, and right now I am in Italy. Different reasons for countries that I visit, some just for a break, and some to study and learn culture.
Have you studied abroad before? If so, where, when, and for what?
Yes, I have studied in Britain, in the small town Bournemouth, I lived with the host family and was studying English language.
Where are you studying abroad this time and why did you choose this location & program?
I’m studying in Italy, and I chose this program in order to study architecture here and experience it.
What are you most looking forward to during your study abroad program? What are you most nervous about?
I’m looking for a nice travel, days of walking and exploring, because that is what I like to do. And I am a little bit nervous about how to manage the time and do studying and traveling at the same time.
What is your favorite subject to photograph (people, cityscapes, landscapes, daily life, etc.) and why?
I usually photograph architecture, food or daily life pictures, to represent the atmosphere from the place I am visiting.
What are some of your interests and hobbies?
I like drawing, either portraits or just graphics.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
If I would be an animal, I would want to be a cat. I love cats, it’s my spirit animal, I have a lot in common and we understand each other really well.
Anything else you would like us to know about you?
I’m really looking forward to be a photo blogger, since it gives me more responsibility in activity.
