I am a second year Environmental Science major
Have you traveled abroad before? If so, where and for what purpose?
The only time I have been abroad is a family vacation to the Dominican Republic when I was in high school
Have you studied abroad before? If so, where and what did you study?
This is my first time studying abroad.
Where are you studying abroad and why did you choose to study there?
I am studying abroad in Costa Rica at EARTH University. Choosing this program had more to do with the classes offered than the location but I think Costa Rica will be an excellent place to learn about sustainability and agriculture.
What are you most looking forward to during your study abroad program?
More than anything, I’m looking forward to travelling to different places within Costa Rica on field trips. I think it’ll be exciting to see different facets of the same country to get a more complete experience of the country.
What are some of your interests and hobbies?
I’m very interested in sustainable agriculture, urban development, and human population growth. My hobbies outside of environmental science include scuba diving, soccer, running, and reading.
