What is your year and field of study?
I have just completed my Sophomore year, and I am about to be a Junior. I am a Journalism Major with an Anthropology Minor.

Have you traveled abroad before? If so, where and for what purpose?
I have taken cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico on family vacations, but I’ve never flown overseas.

Have you studied abroad before? If so, where and what did you study?
This is my first time!

Where are you studying abroad and why did you choose to study there?
The CJC Program brings me to Paris and London. I have studied the French language throughout my four years of high school, but I’ve never been able to develop my skills verbally. As well, I will be visiting Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Dublin, Madrid, and possibly Italy.

What are you most looking forward to during your study abroad program?
I cannot wait to be immersed in such a diverse collection of cultures. I’m looking forward to gaining firsthand knowledge of what makes each city and society so beautiful and unique. I love words, and I’m excited to uncover different idioms, phrases and contexts which depict an individual’s way of looking at their world. Ultimately, I want to expand my worldview and develop a broader understanding of the remarkable creatures that we are as humans, as well as experience all that we have created cross-culturally.

What are some of your interests and hobbies?
I love to write. I love people and culture, live music, film, nature, humanitarianism, animal rights, and the freedom to be who you are.
