Portobello Market in Notting Hill

Another sunny day in London and another new market to explore, Notting Hill’s Portobello Road Market is quite the happening place on Saturdays. The Market runs down portobello road and hundreds of vendors lining the street, selling antiques, collectibles and vintage clothing. Everything from fur coats, taxidermy foxes, old records and antique cameras can all be found here. There are also the food vendors on the street selling crepes with Nutella, falafel, and grilled chorizo sandwiches on ciabatta.

The houses in Notting Hill are painted different vibrant colors like something you would see on the coast of Italy. The old victorian houses stand out from the rest of the residential areas in Kensington with their trendy colors in comparison to the typical all white or brick buildings in London.
