Alyssa Baron is a third year student at the University of Florida majoring in Business Administration, with a concentration on the European Union, and minoring in Entrepreneurship. She previously studied abroad on the UF in Florence – Language, Art and Culture program in Florence, Italy, during which she had the opportunity to travel all over Italy (Cinque Terre being one of her favorites), Budapest, Hungary and Split, Croatia. Her most recent overseas experience involved working with a BBYO leadership seminar in Israel this past summer. Outside of her studies, Alyssa enjoys traveling, doodling, photography, spending time outdoors, playing soccer, wandering the streets of new cities, and meeting new people. In the fall, Alyssa will be studying abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia at Dubrovnik International University. Last summer she visited Croatia (often referred to as Europe’s best kept secret) and knew she had to return. While there, Alyssa fell in love with the landscapes, the people, and the culture. She is also looking forward to witnessing firsthand Croatia’s transition to being a member of the European Union.
