I’ve been in China 9 weeks now and I only just discovered a Wal Mart two weeks ago (it’s one subway stop away from campus). This was the result of that visit:
Differences: Chinese lanterns. Similarities: Nail Salon.
It’s pretty much the same…only in Chinese.
Oh, and they decorate with Pandas. Honestly, If American Wal Marts did this more often, I’d probably go to Target less (probably not).
They even have classic American brands with classic Chinese Flavors! Also, note the knee high boots and eating chips with chopsticks…
Props for creatively using this seaweed flavored chip as a sail.
Mixed meats. Pig’s feet and ribs obviously go together.
It’s three stories. These are the awesome escalators you take between levels. They kindly provide you with numerous unnecessary goodies you can impulsively throw in your cart on the ride up or down.
We bought cheese and crackers. It. Was. Delish. (And kind of expensive. Why don’t they eat cheese???)
Until next time,
